I've been wanting to start a new blog to celebrate my new station in life: Empty (sort of) Nester. I've spent a few months looking for inspiration on title, focus, name knowing it would come along at some point. "Throw it out to the universe and see what comes back" is a favorite piece of advice I like to give. Inspiration arrived this morning in the form of a FaceBook post from a friend of a friend. It looked something like this:
And then it hit me. That was funny, 'cause I'm not there anymore. I have crossed to other side. I am free! Free of carpools, schedules, school meetings, homework reminders, snow days (a good and bad thing), college applications, competitive parents: I am Free! I have Free Range to explore, travel, roam, say what I think, cook, craft, create ....Free Range to get back to Me! So here we go -- a little bit of this, and a little bit of that, wherever I Range
